The following are the tenders’ received at the Crown Lands office on Friday last, for the lease of the University Reserve, Whenuaknra, for a term of fourteen years. The upset price was 6d per acre, for the first seven years, and Is per acre for the second seven years. Block IV, Carlyle,
A tender of J. Riddell’s for Section 25 was declared informal, no tender being given for the second seven J’oars lease. The whole of the above tehdera have been referred to Wellington. No tenders having been received for Section 27, Block IV, Carlyle, and Section 1, Block XIV, Opukn, those sections may be taken at upset price.
