RIFLE SHOOTING.
The fifth competition for the Company’s trophies took place this morning. The first class firing, 5 shots at each range, resulted ns follows : 300 500 600 Tl. Lieut Kitohing 14 16 19 49 Col-Sergt Kel'ls 12 8 15 35 Vol Kitching ... 14 8 10 32 The aggregates for the three highest men are now ; Col-Sergt Kells, 207 ; Lieut Kitching, 198; Vol Kitching, 155. The last mentioned has only fired four competitions against five of the other two.
