THE PLEASURES OF COACHING.
(per press association.) GKEYMOUTtt, Nov 15
Passengers by the overland copcli from Christ church report an accident on the road about six miles this side of Springfield. Through a pin coming out, the three leading horses became disconncc cd and tried to get away. The drircr was very cool and did all in his power to keep them under control. They swerved to one side of the roxd and up against a b irbed wire fence, which the leaders cleared, the shafthor.ses being dragged against the wire fence and thrown down. They kicked so violently that they became entangled in the wires and were much cut about the legs. The passengers got out, and by help of stones broke the wires and released the horses. A fog being on, it could not be seen where the leaders got to, but after a time a bre-ze lifted the fog, and the three leaders were found about 300 yards away trying to get through the same fence in which.they also had become entangled. They tro were releaved'• in the same way as the others, and after a delay of two hours and a half, the coach proceeded slowly by the west sla’jo. The passengers raised a subscription for the driver for his coolness and pluck, and gave him a signed document acquitting him of any blame. .
