Sir, —Can you inform me if the above has been drawn. I held a ticket in it, and understand that about 70 tickets altogether were sold in Paten and neighbourhood, but none of us know anything about the prizes.—Yours, &e., Sport. Paten, Nov, 15,
[We cannot answer the enquiry'. Most probably the sweep was not drawn, Sinclair, tho promoter,'was. amongst those pounced upon by the Melbourne' police, and was fined £SO and £lO costs besides having a large quantity of tickets, &c , seized.
