October, 1883 Acceptances—Handicap Hurdles (2 sovs), Flying (2 sovs), Maiden (3 sovs), W and W Handicap (3 sovs), Guineas (4 sovs) RULES AND REGULATIONS No entry; will - be received for any race except upon this condition —That all disputes, claims, and objections, arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of .the Stewards present: or those whom, they may appoint Their decision upon all points -- connected with the carrying onto? this programme shall be final - All entries must be sealed and addressed, to the Hon Secretary, Box No 12, VPayetley, entrance money enclosed (exchange must be added to cheques), with the name, age at time of entry, pedigree, and,, in case of handicaps, 'the performance of Horse, name of the owner, and colours of the rider Any jockey riding except in colours entered will be fined 3 sovs When two or more hj -rses "start, the property of the same owner, a distinguishing colour must be worn All persons intending-to withdraw horses are required to'give notice itb that effect to the Secretary or Clerk of the .Scalestone half hoiir before starting;,, Any :person| neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine df 5 sovs to the Race Fund.
