[From Our Correspondent.] The action of the Count}’ Council in granting a separate road district to a portion of the retepaycrs in - the Wairoa Highway District without making sure that the Act had been complied with is already bearing its fruit, another small portion of the ratepayers having decided on going in for a separate district. Two or three other separate districts are talked of, and apparent!}* the result will be our fine district will be split up into a number of small road districts, each one for itself, and the prospect of suspending the Counties Act, and thereby preventing being doubly taxed, being farther off than ever.
