ASSAULT ON AN EDITOR

(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION) AUCKLAND, Oct. 11. Mr J. D. Wickham, proprietor of the Free Lance, was assaulted in the editor's room by Dr Hanison, Mrs Dr Potts’s associate, owing to a warm article in the. publication “called “Figaro” on the lady. It is an extract distlibnted at theatres. Harrison was accompanied by his brother, Richard Aspinall the agent, and James Millelt. The two latter, were, with Dr Hanison, arrested on a charge of assault. Wickham received a wound on the top of the head, causing him to lose some blood.
