Richard Corbett was brought up at the Police Court to-day, and committed for trial on a charge of robbing the Commercial Bank of Australia on the night of the 18th ult. The c?se will be beard at. the Supreme Court on the 15th instant. At a meeting, of the Alelbourne Presbytery to-day, Doctor Monison tabled a motion declaring that the resolution passed by the members of the i Scots Church at a meeting held last Wednesday deciding to secede from the Presbyterian Church of Victoria and revert to their position previous to the Act of union was irregular and ultret vires.
