THE ELECTRIC CIRCUS

There is a big thing in circuses on the way down here, Mr St, Clair Jones, agent for Mr Woodyear’s new Electric Circus, passed through Patea this morning, and he tells us that the new combination is really a very excellent one. A large number of American and Australian artists have been engaged, and their performances are spoken very highly of by the Auckland papers. Not the least attraction will he the electric light, by which the vast marquee is iilnrainate'd. The date of the opening will probably be Wednesday, 10th inst., and the circus may stay two or three nights. A performance will also be given at Woverley.
