THE CRUSADE AGAINST MORMONISM.

. An appeal “to the women of the United States ” has been made by Mrs Sarah A. Cooke arid Mrs Jennie A. Froiseth, publishers of the “ Anti-Polygamy Standard,” a journal devoted to the object of -suppressing polygamy in Utah and other -territories of the United States, These ladies say “ We now appeal to all friends of morality and progress, and to lovers of American institutions, to aid us as liberally as they can, both by making donations to tbe printing fund and sending subscriptions for the paper which is only Idol a year. We trust, dear sisters, you will respond to our appeal at once, and, let your individual amounts be ever so small, remember our object, that the breaking of women’s hearts, and the destruction of the purity of homes might be made to cease.”
