SUPPOSED INCENDIARISM.

(per press association) WELLINGTON, This day. A hoarding house at Tawa Flat, the properly of Mr F. Green and occupied by Mr E. Mullens, was destroyed by fire yesterday morning. The building was insured for £2OO and the furniture for £250, both in the London, Liverpool and Globe. Incendiarism is suspected. The inmates numbering fourteen, principally navvies, on being aroused found the doors carefully fastened, and could only be opened by violent moans. They therefore escaped by means of the chimney. Nothing was saved. Detectives arc engaged inquiring into the matter.
