WELLINGTON, This day. “ Major” Barker and Mrs Barker, of the Salvation Army, arrived by steamer from Lyttelton at 1.35 this afternoon. They were met by the • officers of the local “army” and driven to the barracks where a formal welcome took place. To-morrow Mrs Barker will present colours to the corps and the event will be celebrated by a monster tea-fight.
