THE PILOT BOAT ACCIDENT AT NELSON.
Recovery of” a Body.
[per press association.] NELSON, This day. The body found on the sands has been brought to town. The head is gone and nearly all the flesh, but the waistcoat, shirt, trousers, and boots are on it. The remains are evidently those of Reader, drowned four weeks ago in the pilot boat catastrophe. The boots have been recognised by the man who made them for Reader. An inquest will be held.
