According to latest reports from the Southern provinces the disaffected feeling of the inhabitants is not diminished in any degree since the reinforcement of troops was effected. Disloyalty to the Government is openly expressed, and rioting has occurred at several .places in Croatia. At A gram, capital of the province, encounters have taken place between the military and bands of peasants, who fought with determination. Several lives have been lost, and a number of persons severely injured.
