LONDON, Sept. 10.
Accounts from the hop districts are somewhat unsatisfactory, the crops having suffered considerable damage from the recent heavy gales. Telegrams are to hand from Switzerland that the Misses Booth, daughters of General Booth, of the Salvation Army, have been expelled from Charleswurth (sic). The Marquis Tseng, Chinese Envoy, has returned to London to-day from Paris, where he has been negotiating with M. Chalemel Lacour for the amicable settlement of the Franco-Chinese difficulty. CAPETOWN, Sept. 10. Intelligence has been received from Natal that Dabulamanzi, a prominent Zulu chief, and one of the leaders in thejrecent has been arrested at Greytown, in Natal. VIENNA, Sept. 9. According to latest reports from the Southern provinces the disaffected feeling of the inhabitants is not diminished in any degree since the reinforcement of troops was effected. Disloyalty to the Government is openly expressed, and rioting has occurred at several .places in Croatia. At A gram, capital of the province, encounters have taken place between the military and bands of peasants, who fought with determination. Several lives have been lost, and a number of persons severely injured.
