Project Abandoned.

HAWERA, This day.
A proposal to abandon the floating of the proposed Dairy Company, was carried jjy ten votes to nine on Saturday. The chief reason assigned was the little support given by settlers at Okaiawa, where it was proposed to erect the factory. More than £IOOO of shares was subscrioed, but it was considered that £2OOO was wanted.
