SUICIDE AT OPUNAKE.
(per press association.) OPUNAKE, August 30. William Clark, hotelkeeper, late of Wellington, and formerly of Blenheim and Picton, shot himself through the Heart this morning. He had agreed last night with Middleton Bros., from whom he purchased the hotel some five months ago, to give back possession, and an agreement was drawn np to that effect. An inquest was held on the tc£ Clark this morning before Cspl- M Davidson, acting coroner. The jury returned a verdict that deceased snot himself while of nnsonnd mind.
