[PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] HAWERA, August 30. Josephine Green was yesterday bfonght np upon remand charged with child murder. Mr T. Mrs Hughes, midwife, swore she made the dress and flannels, and that the child was wearing them when the mother took it away. The theory cf the defence is that the child was given lo George Williams, a marman, father of the child, who is supposed to be living at the Eortymilo Bnsh. Every effort is to be made by the police to discover him, and a - special policeman is to be sent to trace him.
