Telegrams are to hand from Barcelona reporting that a railway train has been slopped and plundered by a body of armed men. VIENNA, August 15. A fly sheet, promulgating Socialist principles of a violent and seditions character, has been distributed broadcast through nil parts of this city. The event caused great popular excitement, and the civil authorities are endeavouring to ascertain the source from which the publication emanated, but as yet no arrests have been made. CAPETOWN, August 15. Intelligence is to hand from Zulnland reporting that another great battle has taken place between the followers of Cetewayo and those of Usibopu, resulting in great slaughter on both sides,, Usibepn’s followers were defeated, and the chief escaped with difficulty. Celewayo is still in retirement, but is reported to be recovering from wounds he received at the battle of Ulundi.

White, the Melbourne absconder, who was arrested here to-day, was on board the steamer Lady Bowen, and had taken a passage from Brisbane.
