In the House of Commons last night, a bill providing regulations: for preventing the: spread of cholera within the city of London, in the event of an outbreak of the disease /occurring, ‘ was finally passed. MADRID, August 7. The revolutionary agitation, which for some days past has -been actively manifested in Badajoz and, in the surrounding l districts*is hbw ‘rapidly subsiding, and tranquility has been restored. : It l is not expected, that any further outbreak of disloyalty will occur at the present time, j. . - ■ August 7. Reports have been received here from Zulnland to the effect that Cetewayq is still alive’ and was not killed at Ulnndi, as previously stated. . The rumours, however, are distrusted, and have not as yet received any reliable confirmation. ST. PETERSBURG, August 8. A bomb was exploded to-day in a street in this city, but although there were a number of people about at the time no one was injured. The perpetrator of the outrage has not been detected. AUSTRALIAN.
