THE ROTOMAHANA ENQUIRY.
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) DUNEDIN, August 9.. The Rotomahana enquiry commenced this morning before Messrs Carew, Thomson and Sqott, assessors. Oapt Carey, in his evidence, said he,could only account, for the mishap by there being some unusually strong In his opinion the accident was du&TO the'vessel being set out of her course by the current. There was no reason ; to believe tlie chart was incorrect, although it is said there are rocks outside those shown on the chart. Judgment will be given on Monday.
