A MAN BURNT IN HIS TENT.

The Waim ate correspondent of T the Lyttelton Tonies telegraphs : A man named Suppers, a German, went to sleep in atent at a threshing camp, Waitaki, on Saturday night, with a light burning beside him. The tent caught fire, and was burned down in a few minutes, Suppers being terribly burnt about the face, hands, and legs. He lost all wearing apparel, bedding, &c. He was brought into Waimate on Sunday and taken to the hospital.
