(per press association.) WELLINGTON, This day. Weather forecast for 24 horn s -from 9 a.m, to-day. Wind : between northeast and north-west at all places north of Castlepoint and New Plymouth, and between north-east and south-east at all other places. Barometer—farther fall at all stations. Sea—heavy on both Coasts. Warnings for northerly gales and heavy rain hold good at all places north of Castlepoint and New Plymouth and for easterly gales and rain to all other places. Synopsis of last 24 hours —ln all parts of the country the barometer has fallen steadily, and there has been a good deal of rain everywhere north of Lyttelton and Hokitika and a sharp frost at all other places.
