At the South Australian Jockey Club’s meeting to-day, the Goodwood Handicap was won by Colstown, with Royal Irishman second and Total third. ;■ SYDNEY, This day. The Intercolonial Conference agreed to favour a system of federal quarantine. The results of the proceedings of the Conference are generally considered satisfactory, Mr Redmond lectured on Saturday evening, and referred to the Irish grievances in temperate language. He leaves for New Zealand, shortly.
