Tawhiao talks of visiting England. Another gift from Mr Meckelvie, for the Auckland Museum has arrived. It is a statue from Pompeii. : r - ; A cablegram slates that the mail steamer Australia left on Friday, May 6. A communication has been received stating that the wife of the late Edward Costley (who left £130,000 to Auckland charities) is alive in Christchurch. This will not affect the bequests. ' ■
