WAVERLEY TOWN BOARD.
The adjourned monthly meeting of the Waverley Town Board was held on Satur* day, sth inst. Present: Messrs Matheson, Winchcombe, and Chairman. The following correspondence was read, From Mr G. D. Hamerton re Mr Koerstz’s claim for compensation for damage to his property. From Mr H. F. resigning the office of ppundkeeper. From Mr C. Koerstz, resigning his seat on the Board.
Resolved, “ That a rate of three farthings in the pound be levied for current year;” “That Mr F. P. Fookes be appointed rate collector subject to conditions ;” “ That Mr Mason’s resignation as poundkeeper be accepted upon his rendering a statement of accounts to the Board up to date“ That Mr Koerstz’s resignation as member of the Board be accepted “ That Mr Hamerton’s letter re Koerstz’s claim for compensation lie on the table.” The meeting then adjourned.
