WELLINGTON, This day.
Weather forecast for 24 hours from 9 a.ra. to-day ; Wind—between southeast and north-east in both Islands. Barometer—fall at all stations. Sea—heavy on both coasts. Warnings for easterly gales have been sent to all stations. Synopsis of last 48 hours :—ln all parts of the country the barometer rose steadily until about midnight on Sunday, and since then has fallen at all places north of Lyttelton and Hokitika.
