THE CANTERBURY RAILWAY COMMISSION.
(per press association.) KUMARA, This day. The Railway Commissioners, accompanied by Mr C. Y. C’Connor inspecting engineer, and J. G. Gray, secretary, arrived at 10 o’clock on Saturday night. They visited the diggings and country on Sunday morning and proceeded to Hokitika in the afternoon. They will return here this evening, take evidence on the proposed routes of the East and West Coast Railway, and then proceed to Grcymouth,
