S.S. WAVERLEY
: SUCCESSFULLY LAUNCHED. Special to Mail. .. A AUCKLAND, This day. The launch of the S.S. Waverley, for the Patea Steam Shipping Company, eventuated -yesterday afternoon from Bailey’s yard. Mrs Gibbons christened., the vessel, and the launch was most successful. About 200 spectators, were present. Oaptain ; Gibbons expressed himself in - every- way. The Waverley will be finished by the end of the present month. The machinery, etc., is already, oh board, so that little remainsto be dope to the vessel. ;
