' .(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) - , WELLINGTON, This day; Weather forecast for 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day : —-Wind —•between southeast and j south-west at all places north of Napier and New Plymouth, and between south-east and north-east at all other places. : Barometer—rise at all stations. : Sea— moderate on, both coasts. Synopsis of last 24 hours:Northwards of Napier : and New Plymonth the barometer has continued to rise steadily, but in all other parts of the country there was a further- fall until about midnight, and since then it has risen at all stations south of Napier and/KNowa Plymouth. ; Strong . north-; west gales, changing in the west to southwest have been experienced from thence southward.
