CRUSHED TO DEATH.

♦ (PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION.); GREYMOUTH, April 10. A fatal accident occurred to-day by which a man named Jas. Foster was crushed to death. He and others were engaged in lifting a large block of stone with a crane . The stone being too heavy, over-balanced the crane which turned over, emptying a box full of pig iron on Foster who only lived a few minutes. Another man named Austin had a most miraculous escape.
