Accident at Kakaramea.

■» —— An accident of a serious nature happened to Mrs Beck, a resident of Woodville, on Sunday evening. She and her husband were riding down the Ball, Road when fpr some slight cause the horse which tjier unfortunate lady was riding, shied anti threw her heavily to the ground. The fall did not prevent her from clinging to the bridle, and while so doing the animal struck her on the side, breaking, as it . was found on subsequent examination, some of her ribs. Her husband, assisted by Mr Feter Wilson, succeeded in conve}ing her to the Wharncliffe hotel, where everything that could be done to relieve her Sufferings was done. Dr Keating is attending the sufferer. It is to be hoped that no permanent inconvenience will result from the accident.
