ACCIDENT ON RAILWAY LINE.

A shocking accident happened to a navvy named Crowley, while at work on McDevitt’s railway contract this morning. He was engaged filling a truck, when a quantity of earth loosened by recent rains, fell upon him jamming the unfortunate fellow against a truck, and crushing his upper jaw into small fragments. He was at once removed to the hospital and attended by Dr Keating, but it is hard to judge what may result from the injuries.
