The Homeward mail, via San Francisco, from Auckland/ Jan;' 2, was delivered here to-day. Consols/102£ *, New Zealand securities 5 per cent., 10-40 loan, have advanced to 106 ; 5 per cent, 1889' loan, remains 104 ; and 44 per cent, 18791904 loan, at 103£. Colonial wheat has risen Is per quarter. Adelaide ex store, 52s 6d. New Zealand do, 46s 6d to 50s. Adelaide flour, ex store, has advanced to 35s 6d. Best Scotch pig iron, No. 2. f.o.b. in Clyde, 49s (sic) a Galvanised" iron, Gospel Oak, 26 gauge, packed in cases f.o.b. in London, £2O per ton.
