LICENSING COMMITTEE .
The annual election of the Patea Licensing Committee took place to-day, those nominated being Messrs R. A. Adams, R. Currie, F. R. Doneghne, F. G. Mace, and G. T. Potto. They were declared duly elected. The first meeting of the Committee to elect a Chairman will be held at the Courthouse .. on Wednesday, the 2lsfc inst., at eleven oMock’, ; The Chronicle this morning falls into an error in stating that.none of the quarterly meetings can be held in March next in the district be-: cause a-month’s notice has not been given Section 10, of the Amendment Act, nullifies the requirements of Section 41 of the Licensing Act.
