MR BARKER'S SALE .

* — _ After the Government sale to-day, Mr G. F. Barker held a sale of properties at his rooms. The sale wa*s in every way a success, all the land being sold with the exception of two farms which were withdrawn, but treated for privately. A ten acre farm at Manntahi, with four roomed house and outbuildings erected lherepn, and now in the possession ot Mrs M. Campbell, fetched £26 per acre. A 103 acre farm at Manntahi brought £6 2s ,6d per acre. Town sections 112 and 164 Kakaramea were sold at £7 10s and £5 5s respectively, and a 23 acre farm at Manntahi brought £9 17s per acre.
