Williams, falling down in a dead faint in the reading desk while reading the service. Mr Williams has been ailing for some time, and no doubt the heated atmosphere of the church was too much for him. A few minutes later one of the lady members of the congregation also succumbed to the heat, and was only just able to reach the outside when she too fell down in a faint.
