A ROAD WANTED .

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I think it is about time for me to ask how it is that (he road to my place has not been made yet. The money £SO, was voted by the Road Board over six years ago, and a great fuss was then made over the road but it has since died but. Where the money is gone I don’t know ; possibly to make roads for other people who want them less. The Board has told me that I don’t want a road to my place as I have the river. All I can say is that I have to buy boats and pay rates as well, and it comes rather expensive. I hope the members of the Patea East Road Board will bestir themselves and get the road made.—Yours &c., Richard. Prouse.
