BUSH AND KENDALL'S BANKRUPTCY.
Creditors in this estate met on Monday in the Court House ; Mr Taplin in the chair. The liabilities were stated at £7Bl 18s 7d, and the assets were practically nothing. The larger debts were: Stewart and Co., Wellington, timber merchants £lO4 18s W. Odgers 241 W. Dale 20 M’Carty & Hunger ... 36 13 York & Cornfoot ... 146 6 The loss on the bank contract was stated to be many hundreds, Mr W. Dale was appointed trustee. In the separate estate of Mr Kendall, the assets were £997 10s, being half share in two sections on Waimate Plains and stock. His liabilities were £1,237 10s in mortgage and promissory note to secure his half-share, • In the separate. estate of Mr Bush, the debts were about £4O, due to Patea tradesmen, and assets nil.
