Grey a wire has been received in answer to one of a townsman here, saythat Te Wetere has left Wellington, and is on his way home ; and that Grey had heard nothing of the supposed disclosure. ■ The affair is a mystery. The telegram of the Maori is authentic. The alarm caused is extreme, and the only solution is that it was despatched from Wellington for land-shark purposes.
