This Afternoon. Insurance .Profits. Auckland.—The half-yearly report of the Now Zealand Insurance Company showed that after making ample provision for all liabilities and carrying £20,000 to the reserve fund, there remains £21,584 for division. A dividend of 15 per cent, is to be paid, and £6584 carried forward. THE OAMAEU MURDER. Oamaru.—Alexander Beattie, charged on remand at the R.M. Court to-day with the murder of Sarah Beattie or Adams, was further remanded until Tuesday next. The jury have returned an open verdict as to how the woman came by her death.
