Liquor Inspector Wanted.

A meeting of chairmen of Licensing Committees in this district was held this afternoon, in the Court House. Only three chairmen attended, namely Mr Currie (Patea), Mr G. W. Gane (Kakaramea), Mr M’Rae (Manaia). After discussion as to the necessity of requesting Government to appoint an inspecting analysist, it was agreed to adjourn the meeting till, the 6th July, at noon ; and the clerk to send circulars to other chairmen to that effect.
