(per reutbr’s agency.) Two Men Shot in Ireland.
London, 9th.—News has been received from Ireland to the effect that Mr Bourke, a Galway landlord, and a Dragoon who was escorting him, have been shot at Ardrahan. The police have not yet succeeded in arresting the assassins. More Agrarian Outrages- ; London, 9th.—lntelligeqpejto hand from Ireland is again indicating a serious increase in the number of agrarian outrages. In the western districts yesterday one fanner was murdered and two others seriously wounded. The causes of the outrages are not definitely . known, and the assailants are still at large. W6OL r toRKET. London, 10th.—An active demand for most descriptions of wool was experienced at-to-day’s auction. The catalogue? comprised 9900 bales. Robbery of Jewellery. Melbcurne, this day. —A robbery of £ISOO worth of jewellery was effected last night from the shop of Mr Airmskie, in Lonsdale-street. No arrests have yet been made in connection with the affair.
