MURDER AND INSANITY.

London, 26th.—The Horae Secretary has had under consideration further affidavits forwarded by President Arthur in support of the alleged insanity of Dr Lamson, the Wimbledon murderer. After full enquiry, he has decided that the appeals made on behalf of the prisoner cannot be entertained, and it is definitely decided that sentence of death shall be carried out on the 28th.
