List of New Ministers. Wellington.—Ministers were sworn in before his Excellency at 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon. The resignation of the late Ministry, and the appointment, of- the new one, are gazetted. The Hon. Mr Oliver’s name is omitted from the gazetted list of Ministers, but it is understood he will bo sworn in on his arrival .at Wellington. The following allocation of portfolios has been gazetted : Hon. Frederick Whitaker to be Premier and Attorney-General ; Hon. Harry Albert Atkinson to be ii;, Colonial;. Treasurer* /Commissioner of , Customs,; and Commissioner of Stamp Duties ; Hon. William Rolleston to ho Minister of Lands and Immigration and Minister of Mines ; Hon. John Bryce to bo Minister of Native Affairs; Hon. Thomas Dick to. be Colonial Secretary, Minister,of-Justice and Minister of Education ; Hon. Walter Woods Johnston to be Minister for Public Works, Post-master-General, and Commissioner of Telegraphs. : Nothing has yet . been decided regarding filling the vacancy in the Ministry occasioned by Mr Hall’s retirement.
