MOA SKELETONS.

Moa bones are not by any means exhausted in Canterbury, for Mr Denton, has actually found, and sent away enough; of s theni to make 20 complete skeletons. This, is trenching upon Dr von Haaste’s preserves; rather late sin the day however, for the Dr has done pretty well for his beloved Museum out of the moa bones. We-should like very much'to hear what he has to say o the discovery by Mr. Denton of the bones of the gigantic eagle which lived by preying on the moa. That is a new departure which the local scientific men must either accept or disprove at once. —Canterbury Times.
