A warning notice is issued by Sir Wm. Fox against any leasing of native reserves other than through trustee appointed under the Act to conduct such leasing operations on this Coast. The trustee is now appointed, and all leases will be submitted to public competition by auction. No priority will be given to those persons who may have leased privately from natives since the 19th December, 1879.
