The Otago Acclimatisation Society has received a telegram from Melbourne informing it that the Loch Leven trout ova came out in the Potosi, and will arrive at Port Chalmers on the 21st Instant, by tbo Rotomaliana. The Society also has received word that the salmon ova were shipped by the John Elder on January 27th. These latter will be due here in March. “ Citizen” writes to a Dunedin journal that the income of the Harbor Board cannot be estimated at more than about £20,000, and that the loan charges amount to £25,000, or £5,000 more than its income.
