Patea and Waverley Clubs are playing this afternoon, on the Domain. Waverley team made 29 in their first innings, and 38 in second innings ; total 67. The highest Waverley scores were F. P. Fookes and G. Howie 9 each. Patea first innings was 66; Jacob’s 15 being the highest. The second innings was going on at 5 o’clock; A. Black, 0; Jacomb, 2; Taplin and Fraser in, the former having got 27, including a drive for 6, and Fraser getting 16, not out. Patea having only 2 to get in the second innings to win, the game is decided,
