PROSELYTISING.
A couple of Mormon missionaries are on a visit to Little River trying to convert the villagers and natives. They tried their little game with a Swede, who, after listening to their exhortations, said : “ Mine good mans, I links I know a better blace dan disforyou ; not enough peoples here, and all Christians. You should go to China ; 400,000,000 peoples dero, all heathens. And do womans! oh de womans ! dey are de sort for you. Try China, mine poys, try China.” They gave Peter up.
