TELEGRAPH AND POSTAL REVENUE.
The Postal and Telegraph Departments of the colony give the following amounts of revenue during the quarter ended 31st December last: —Postage received from Foreige Office, £3,600 ; Postage stamps sold, £30,869 ; Money Order Commission, £2,091; Private box and bag rents, £250 ; Postal Guides, £3O 13s 6d ; Miscellaneous Receipts, £379. Total postal revenue, £308,462. Paid telegrams, £308,462; yielding revenue, £20,404, as compared with £17,189 in the corresponding quarter in 1880. The Postal revenue shows an increase on that of the corresponding quarter of £3,098,
